Hi! I’m Ron, a second-year Master’s student in Cognitive and Brain Sciences at the Hebrew University. I completed my undergraduate studies in Economics and Management at Bar Ilan University during high-school. My research focuses on how placebo effects can be harnessed to improve clinical outcomes, particularly through personalized treatment descriptions. I’m currently working on a project that combines AI with tailored health communication to enhance the effectiveness of placebo treatments.

Outside the lab, I’m deeply passionate about science communication. I run a social media page where I break down complex ideas in psychology, into short, engaging videos that are both research-based and fun to watch.

Hi, I’m Adi, a second-year M.A. student of clinical and educational psychology. I completed my undergraduate studies in Psychology and International Relations at the Hebrew University. My research focuses on how beliefs are formed and updated, belief systems, and the influence of individual differences. I am currently working on developing a new model of beliefs that will allow us to deeper understand how beliefs function and then apply it to clinical therapies for mental health purposes.

Outside the lab, I am interested in the effect nature, diet, and environment have on the mind and body.

I'm Roee, a Master's student in Psychology. My research focuses on how placebo effects can be enhanced by shaping how patients attribute treatment effects. I'm interested in the mind-body connection, exploring how psychological factors like expectations, trauma, and cognitive framing shape physical symptoms, and how tools like cognitive therapy, guided imagery, and meditation can support healing.

Outside the lab, I'm interested in the intersections of psychology, medicine, and philosophy. I completed my undergraduate studies in the Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) excellence program at Tel Aviv University and have a particular interest in Buddhist psychology and meditative practices.

Hi! I’m Sapir, a Master's student in Rehabilitation Neuropsychology. I completed my undergraduate studies in Law and Psychology at the Hebrew University. My research will examine how people update their beliefs about treatments and natural recovery, and whether they consider alternative explanations rationally. I am also interested in individual differences and how these effects may vary across different contexts or over time.

Outside the lab, I am interested in the intersections between psychology and law.

Hi, I’m Hadas, a master’s student in clinical psychology
Before that, I studied computer science and mathematics and also completed an M.Sc. in computer science. Over the past two years, I’ve been studying in the Completion Program for a Master's Degree in psychology, here at the Hebrew University.

In my research, I hope to combine the computational world with the field of psychology, where I’m just taking my first steps. Besides that, I’m also a mom to a sweet little girl (objectively speaking :)

I’m Yehuda, currently pursuing an M.A. in Adult Clinical Psychology. I hold a B.A. in Psychology and Economics from the Open University of Israel. My research focuses on the placebo effect and the psychological mechanisms that shape a patient’s trust and belief in their prescribed treatment. Specifically, I examine how tailoring treatment descriptions to match an individual’s characteristics and prior beliefs can enhance treatment-related expectations. Beyond my research, I am deeply interested in psychopathology and the diverse therapeutic approaches developed to alleviate psychological distress and promote well-being.

I'm Mika, a Computer Science and Cognitive Science student at the Hebrew University. I'm fascinated by the interplay between human and artificial cognition. I aim to contribute to a deeper understanding of cognitive processes through computational modelling, and explore how those findings can inform and advance the field of machine intelligence. My current research focuses on dynamics of belief systems.

I'm Tal, a third year psychology and statistics & data science B.A. student. I'm interested in metacognition and apparent lack of or mistakes in metacognition. My research focuses on people's awareness of their own attitudes and beliefs, primarily on awareness of the changes in them over time.
